A demonstration in casual excellence, the Calvin Klein Collection was sporty and laddy and presented that genre of stylish masculinity that’s understood so well by icons like Liam Gallagher, David Beckham or Thierry Henry. All collars were sky-high, duffle coats were a statement (via the baggy shape and perpendicular seams cast in the cosiest of camel coloured, cashmere wool), buffed shearling hoodies looked fit to walk off shop floors next winter and the knits, bomber jackets and puffa’s seemed born for the football terraces. If you have a soft spot for posh scallies then this collection is for you. If you like your scallies to have a soft side then these high-end, plush textures are for you. The double-take headlines were a complex print (a kind of impressionist dot stroke or polka print), crocodile trousers and netted puffa's but on the closing walk through of looks it was the bounty of strong shearling pieces that ruled the day.
